The purpose behind designing a management school is to introduce the
students the concept of institutional planning on large campuses,
understanding the various function and the connectivity between them.
Students need to understand the life of residential students and design
spaces of learning, living and recreational areas interwoven into a cohesive
campus plan. The built environs and the landscape design must complement
each other in a response to the surroundings in which the building sits. The
campus must be an emotion and an experience- a residue that is left over
after one has meandered through it.
Interactive spaces form the backbone of the management institute and must
be provided for the students to evolve and generate healthy campus
discussions amongst each other and faculty. These need to be semi open or
closed spaces interspersed with the landscape.
The campus must be planned with a multi-purpose hall, library, cafeteria and
also include a graduation march which is a part of the convocation ceremony.

Design Philosophy

Design Objectives
To study the rich flora and fauna of the region. To implement ways to
preserve/conserve the rich ecology of wetlands. To implement scientific
interventions to restore
the wetlands back
to
its original glory. Create awareness among the masses through eco-tourism,
eventually generate
socio-economic values
over the area. To create interactive design spaces keeping wetlands in background.
